Large Format Printer & Finisher

Location: Farringdon, London

Salary: Circa £28,000 based on experience, negotiable, plus benefits (Monday to Friday, full time 40 hours a week)

My client are a leading producer of large format print based in central London, they’re currently looking to hire a large format printer & finisher to join their production team. The company have great staff retention, with several team members having been within the business since company inception over 20 years ago. You’ll be primarily working day shifts within the role, but flexibility is required as you may also be expected to work afternoon shifts or nights.

You will be responsible for producing high quality large format digital prints, primarily for retail clients, using a variety of machinery. Previous experience in a fast-paced large format print environment, is essential.

The Role

• Setting up and operating a variety of large format digital printers –OCE Arizona and Mimaki 3 metre presses primarily
• Operate Zund cutting machinery
• Using Onyx RIP Software to set up print ready files
• Laser cutting, vinyl cutting and large format lamination
• Quality checking all work ensuring it’s finished to the highest possible standard
• Routine maintenance of equipment to ensure a seamless production process

The Candidate

• An already experienced large format printer operator and print finisher
• A strong background in print finishing with a multitude of skills – mounting, laminating, cutting etc
• Can confidently use Onyx RIP Software to set up print ready files
• A keen eye for detail
• Has a flexible attitude towards work, able to work shifts (days/afternoons primarily, with perhaps some night shifts)
