The successful candidate will be undertaking the checking of engineering drawings, both for completeness of construction detail and dimensions, as well as for functionality. They will also be be required to undertake both structural and mechanical checks and calculations.

The engineer would also be required to check and perform calculations of other aspects such as corrosion resistance. Experience with drawings on both large scale fabrications and precision equipment is required because of the nature of the clients product.

This is initially a 3 month contract outside IR35 and will be working both at home and in the offices on the outskirts of Southampton.
