As a Project Manager you will be working with technically challenging and innovative technology, you will be joining an expanding team with progression & development opportunities. Your key focus will be to manage and deliver on time and to required specification multiple projects by leading, managing and motivating various teams of multi disciplined resources in order to deliver projects to customers. 

As a Project Manager your duties will include:

• Responsible for delivery of multiple projects, in accordance with business processes, from point of purchase to installation in line with customer’s expectations
• Alignment of projects to achieve on time delivery to customers whilst meeting business objectives
• Form and manage the relevant project resources or teams ensuring appropriate communications and planning with key stakeholders (internal and external)
• Ensure each project progresses and adheres to the business project management process (stage gate process) in order to meet the requirements of deliverable items
• Where applicable, calculate the risk in each project and proactively manage this risk ensuring corrective action is taken to minimise impact to delivery
• Proactively manage communications with Customers on projects
• Provide status reporting to the Head of Projects and Customer Management as well as the business Executive team as required e.g. progress status, key risks, potential business impacts
• Contribute or support wider development of the Product Range or New Product Introduction through customer discussions and feedback
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders and customers

But what will you need to apply for this Project Manager role?

• A degree in Engineering or Physics
• A proven track record in leading and delivering high volume, high value complex technical or engineering projects
• Experience of using Project Management processes and techniques in a dynamic and pressurised environment
• Ability to mitigate and escalate issues and risk where necessary
• Ability to coordinate people to solve problems and find innovative solutions
• Ability to understand technically complex issues to be able to engage with stakeholders
• Financially aware with evidence of successfully managing project budgets, identifying key issues with speed
