A supportive SEN school in Havering is looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) / Learning Support Assistant (LSA). As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant you will be encouraging pupil independence and confidence within lessons. Pupils will have needs including Autism (ASD), SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) and communication challenges. They engage well with PECS, visual and sensory aids. You will deliver on targets set in pupils' individualised plans.  Some pupils may require help with feeding, personal care and mobility.

• £85-£95 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
• Long-term, full-time
• September Start

The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant will:

• Have a positive attitude and dedication to provide the best care for SEN pupils
• Have good SEN experience, especially of behavioural and SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) needs
• Enjoy working in collaborative team
• Hold an enhanced DBS and references
