Maintenance Engineer - Slough- 4 on 4 off (2 days / 2 nights) - (12 hour shifts) - 47k

We are looking for maintenance engineer (multi skilled maintenance engineer) with preferably and electrical bias or an engineer who has good electrical ability, to join our established maintenance team on a 4 on 4 off (2days/2nights). We are an established laundry business with a state of the art facility which was the most advanced in Europe in 2016.

We are adding to the team due to growth and the successful engineer for this role will have experience in a hands-on maintenance position working within a fast paced setting. The role will include working with both planned and reactive maintenance across multiple areas of the business.

The engineer will need to be able to work electrically including working with motors, inverts, sensors and control panels. Fault finding and root cause analysis will be essential as well as knowledge of PLC systems and fault finding using HMI interface. We are looking people from a fast moving manufacturing or production setting, including food, FMCG however any production or manufacturing experience will be excepted. The successful individual will also need to be a multi skilled engineer with the ability to work across all disciplines, mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatics. The personality fit is as important as skill set here, we are looking for someone who as the right attitude and can work within a team.

We are looking for someone who can learn on the job and isnt afraid to learn and apply new skills, any experience working with automation and robotics would be excellent as the site has complex equipment. 

To be considered for this role you will need to have a recognised qualification/apprenticeship within engineering or be a time served multi skilled engineer with experience in the food, FMCG, packaging, or the fast moving production industries.
