The Role
To assist a small but dedicated team of individuals in providing quick and accurate advice to customers on the best solution for their systems. The company deals with different customer types within the industry including, installers, merchants and homeowners. The candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service levels including pricing, technical assistance and producing material schedules from customer drawings.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
• Order Processing
• Purchase Order Checking
• Credit Requests
• Return Requests
• Generating quotations
• Dealing with customer enquiries
• Liaising with external suppliers
• Liaising with external couriers
• Answering the telephone

Candidate Essential Skills/Requirements
The candidate should have experience within a customer service environment, a practically minded individual with a technical approach would be beneficial and a willingness to learn about the company’s products and services offer is essential.

The successful candidate should have;
• Experience within a customer focused environment
• Experience within the building/roofing industry is preferable, but not essential
• Have the ability to communicate well at all levels with excellent interpersonal skills
• Work in an organised and methodical manner
• Have a strong attention to detail
• Competent IT skills with experience of ERP systems (N.B. Training of the company’s ERP system will be provided)
• Good levels of numeracy & literacy
