Are you an experienced Flexo Printer looking to join a ‘salt of the earth’ business?

Due to retirement, our client is looking for an experienced Flexo Printer to work Monday to Friday 8:30am till 5pm.

This is a solo role; you will be running two printing machines to produce short run bags. You will be hands on as this is not an automated machine, putting the rolls on, hand feeding the bags and setting up the machines is physically demanding.

Full training will be given on the machinery, but you will need to have prior experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

  • Over printing plastic and paper bags
  • Manufacturing and printing of paper bags
  • Setting up print jobs on the flexographic print heads
  • Monitoring print quality throughout all jobs
  • Maintaining machinery with weekly cleaning
  • Ensuring the quality of print is excellent from correct positioning, correct colour
  • Make sure the correct size of bags are used
  • Maintaining a good print quality, understanding of print position and colours

 

Requirements:

  • Must have flexographic printing experience
  • Know how to fully set up
  • You must be mechanically minded
  • Knowledge of pantone colours essential
