Deputy Enterprise Architect – Life & Pensions

UK based Life & Pensions organisation is looking for a Deputy/Junior Enterprise Architect who can work with the Enterprise Architect to deliver against the needs of the business.

The programme of work is driven by the acquisition of a business that now needs to be integrated into the existing enterprise. Additionally, they are delivering a new life insurance and annuities platform. In addition to the migration of the data from the legacy systems, the new platform needs to integrate with existing and new systems.

We are looking for a personable, confident individual with the knowledge and experience to deliver an Infrastructure that will support the needs if the business for years to come.

Role Deliverables include:

• Create a Solutions Architecture to meet business requirements
• Definition, design and interpretation of technical architecture artefacts taken from user requirements specifications
• Definition of the target architectures, roadmaps and timescales
• Ensure the most effective use of technology and digital services
• Definition of the as-is and to-be architecture, and the interim architectures as they move towards the target state
• Take a lead role in the full life cycle delivery of the technical solutions for Business projects from initial concept, requirements gathering, specification, design, delivery, and acceptance
• Development and optimisation of the application landscape
• Technology investment planning

Knowledge & Experience:

• Experience leading large architectural projects to completion
• Experience within Solution Design and Architecture
• Experience of all parts of the SDLC
• Experience of mobile, cloud and digital environments
