Front-End Engineer – React, TypeScript, GraphQL, JavaScript, Hybrid Remote.

This is a permanent opportunity to work with an existing team of passionate full-stack developers, working for an online rewards and market research company with millions of users worldwide.

You will have strong React development expertise on web platforms and ideally high volume high transactional websites and an understanding of technologies and architecture required to allow stable scaling. They adopt a microservices approach and do ideally want you to have commercial experience following this.

You will be working on our client’s web product which adopts a microservices approach, to develop new products, features, functionality. A key part of this position will be helping to improve user and responses using Machine Learning and AI, so some exciting projects to sink your teeth into. You will be working in a start-up culture using a Lean/Kanban approach and continuous delivery, developing new features and products within the user experience team for both web and mobile.

Duties Involved:

• Work on their web product, which adopts a microservices approach, developing new features, functionality, and products.
• Scaling their product through managing its ability to handle increasing load and transactions through the systems.
• Improve user experience and responses using Machine Learning and AI.

Experienced Required:

• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development and user experience.
• Strong understanding of in HTML, CSS and developing for the Web and/or Mobile
• Strong understanding of JavaScript / ES6+  (TypeScript is a plus)
• Strong understanding of React
• Experience setting up and managing JavaScript build pipelines and tooling
• Experience using Websockets/GraphQL would be a benefit.
• Experience using AWS cloud services.
