The Senior Web Operations Manager will manage the external development resource and Web Operations Manager to manage elements of the technical development of The Groups ecommerce websites. The post holder will also be responsible for facilitating the construction of websites for our ecommerce channels from conception to execution, and will manage the ticketing system, ensuring stakeholder queries are managed and addressed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development, deployment, and redevelopment of the group’s ecommerce websites/projects and delegating tasks to the Web Operations Manager where necessary
  • Apply technical expertise to complex systems and database structures, developing these systems from conception to completion.
  • Build and then maintain effective systems ensuring these are consistent with the operational requirements as highlighted by external/internal clients
  • Manage the Web Operations Manager to ensure the ticketing service is maintained, and all issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Manage the application of Magento and Shopify components to existing and new projects
  • Helping to communicate developer needs to the wider organisation, managing expectations alongside the Web Operations Manager
  • Manage time allocations and work priorities within the current development team, both internal and external.
  • Understand / research and engage with user needs to drive desirable execution of any development project

 

Experience:

  • 3 years’ practical Experience of developing, managing, and troubleshooting Magento2/Shopify and ERP integrations
  • 1 Years’ experience of working with MySQL or Similar product
  • In-house experience working for an ecommerce platform.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects and products to time, cost and quality.
  • Firsthand experience of working strategically.
  • Working as a key individual within a wider team, including senior management.
  • 1 years’ experience managing a small team of either internal or external development resource

 

Salary

They offer an excellent salary package of up to £60,000.
