We are an electronic manufacturer who is looking for a test engineer to support the business with new product testing for our electrical/electronic products. We are looking for an individual with a test engineer background and an individual who has knowledge of testing to component level.

The successful test engineer will be hands on within this role working with new products, utilising test meters and oscilloscopes as an example. You will be testing to component level with attention to detail essential. We are looking for the test engineer to support the business with their commercial and legal reputation to ensure that all products are fit for purpose, completing all safety standards required etc.

As the successful test engineer, you will be working with our internal private label products, including small white goods products, heaters, lightening and traditional consumer electronics. Working with another member of the test team within the new lab setting.

The successful test engineer will be an organised individual who is used to working to deadlines, with the ability to be a self starter and pro active with their approach to work. The test engineer will need to have an understanding and background within electronics and or electrical consumer goods, ideally with qualifications within relevant fields including electronics/electrical design/engineering.

Knowledge around consumer electronics is essential within this role, products including, audio visual, tv/home entertainment, extension cables, connectors, HDMI switches. You will be required to test the mentioned electronics to check the performance, power supply and safety requirements and complete related documentation in the form of test reports.

Your role is an essential part of the team as the work you complete will allow the compliance and NPI team to decide if the product is a viable option for the business. As this is a test engineer role you will be based within the workshop and the new lab.
