Senior Safety Advisor needed in Rochdale £18.35ph ref 0006 D72 / 1

Candidates should have a thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety requirements and responsibilities across a diverse organisation. This includes programmed audits, monitoring health and safety performance, delivering training, and giving advice and support.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are imperative, as is a flexible, customer-focused approach. You will need to have a good knowledge of up-to-date health and safety standards and techniques, and substantial experience of working in a large multi-disciplined organisation.

Much of the work requires the use of a PC, requiring well-practiced skills and abilities across a range of technology and software.

It is essential that candidates possess the NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) in Occupational Safety and Health, and have two years relevant post-graduate experience.

The successful applicant will be expected to undertake a certain amount of travelling within the role for which casual car user allowance is payable.
