Location: Milton Keynes/Hybrid (3x in office a week) 

Salary: Up to £70,000 

James Adams has partnered with a leading provider in workplace solutions for UK/EU business, originally a mail order supplier who have now evolved into a successful e-commerce business and they are seeking a Principle Frontend Engineer. 

As a Principle Frontend Engineer, you will operate independently outside of the scrum teams and will ensure alignment between the architecture/engineering teams. Acting as the technical authority for the e-commerce platforms within the business, you will identify and priortise improvements and support the engineering function.

This role would allow you the opportunity to build a 'world-class' technical team and inspire engineers to continually deliver high quality, clean, performant and highly operable code whilst creating environment that is striving for excellence and encouraging collaboration.

This role would be ideal if you have the follwowing experience: 

• Good knowledge of enterprise e-commerce/web development
• High level of JavaScript/React, HTML and CSS skills
• Experience with JavaScript tooling (Webpack, Grunt, Gulp) 
• The ability to be a decision-maker
