Software Test Lead
The is a permanent position, paying £55-65k salary and is offered on a full UK remote basis (must reside in the UK).
You will be working for a growing Tech Consulting firm to lead their QA function, from leading the existing team to setting test strategy, test plans and test automation architecture. This will be a hands on role still, so a strong background in Automation testing of software (web applications) is required.
You will be responsible for leading the test effort for their software applications, developing and executing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Strong commercial experience in the following would be advantageous:

- Selenium WebDriver / Grid
- BDD (Cucumber, Gherkin)
- Performance Testing (JMeter)
- Front end testing (Cypress / Mocha)
- Any understanding of backend code (.net, Java, Python)
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for their software applications, ensuring that all requirements are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Leading a team of test engineers to ensure that testing activities are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, product managers, and project managers, to ensure that software applications meet customer requirements and business needs.
