As a Junior delivery manager your role supports our Delivery and Associate Delivery Managers, to deliver a project or small change which has an SAP element. 

We are looking for an adaptable and enthusiastic teammate who is also at ease working on their own areas of responsibility. 

The Role involves multiple tasks, including managing and coordinating meetings, taking minutes, and producing outputs, planning. You’ll also cover shared tasks and provide cover, logging and monitoring change process work and answering queries. 

Whilst this is not a technical post, your inquisitive nature and enquiring mind mean you will quickly learn the IT related aspects of the role and the terminology.

The role is based in Worthing and some travel and overnight stays may be required. Those working an alternative working pattern are welcome to apply. However, please contact the vacancy holder before applying to confirm whether your working pattern would be suitable.

Person specification

Support the Delivery and Associate Delivery Managers in managing the SAP element of the delivery of a project or a change. 

Manage, coordinate and chair meetings including taking minutes, screen sharing, producing inputs and outputs, maintaining the agenda, coordinating stakeholders, timekeeping and issuing diary invites 

Maintain and update the planner for the team – ensure the Planner aligns to other delivery schedules and timelines, maintain RAG statuses, track progress, capture accurate updates. 

Essential Criteria 

  • Enthusiastic, well organised team player, skilled at planning and balancing the delivery of own work and ensuring team priorities are met 
  • Ability to accurately record meetings, produce and issue related output 
  • Comfortable with IT using Office 365 tools, Word, and Excel to help plan team's work 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with and influence a wide range of stakeholders. 

Desirable criteria 

  • Experience of working in a project environment 
  • Knowledge of different delivery methods.
