A really exciting opportunity has arisen to become the UK Operations Director for a market leader in refurbished computers.
The head office’s based in France, the UK Operation Director will travel to France for the first 3 to 4 weeks to understand process and procedures. (travel time from Manchester is under 2 hours). All expenses paid.
The new UK office is based in the heart of Trafford park, the Operation Director will be responsible for recruiting and large team (up to 50) with 6 new recruits planed for the first year.
Key Duties Include:

• Ensuring financial targets and other agreed targets are met (full P&L responsibility)
• Reviewing working practices to determine if it is successful and if not, devise an alternative
• Making sure safety regulations are followed
• Keeping employees motivated and organising appropriate training
• Ensuring the business operates within the company’s mission statement
• Investigating customer satisfaction and reporting any issues
• Working with department heads and senior management to get the best performance from staff
• Driving the business to increase profits
• Reviewing and approving equipment needs
