VB.NET/C# Developer £55,000

Pearson Carter are working with a renowned Software House who are the dominant force in their industry. Due to a sustained period of growth, they are looking to add a VB.NET Developer to their growing team.

After an initial migration project, they will be looking to implement various new technologies, so it is a perfect time to join their team.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in technical roles within software development organisations
• High standard of programming in .net development technologies, using vb.net
• Solid understanding of IIS, ASP, Webservices, XML, XSLT, JSON, with a willingness to pick up and learn new languages and technologies as needed
• Solid experience in consuming external webservices/APIs
• Solid experience in building and deploying large scale secure RESTful APIs

Responsibilities:

• With rapid adaptation & understanding of existing applications and technical environment, gain in-depth technical knowledge of systems
• Work with internal and sub-contractor teams to ensure clear communication of technical issues
• Investigate and manage technical issues accurately
• Implement toolkits and APIs for purposes such as integration, performance optimisation, security and scalability
• Participate in software development lifecycle activities to deliver and validate new features and fixes according to required timescales and risks

Salary:

They offer an excellent salary for up to £55,000 with many benefits including paid certifications and bonuses.

Location:

Slough (Daily for 3 months)
