Front arena Developer- Permanent - £700-£1000 a day

In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing and enhancing the Front Arena platform, a comprehensive solution for trading, risk managment , and post-trade operations. Your experience will directly contribute to optimizing our clients' investment strategies and operational effectiveness.
 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Front Arena platform.
• Develop and customize Front Arena functionality and workflows to meet the specific needs of hedge funds and investment management firms.
• Implement enhancements and optimizations to the Front Arena platform, ensuring its stability, scalability, and performance.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects and issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software releases within specified timelines and quality standards.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments relevant to the hedge fund and investment management landscape.
• Provide technical support to clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and optimizing system performance.
• Stay proactive in suggesting and implementing improvements to enhance the user experience and increase efficiency within the Front Arena platform.

Requirements:

• Strong experience as a Front Arena Developer within hedge funds, investment management firms, or related financial institutions.
• Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with relevant frameworks (e.g., Django) for developing scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Solid understanding of trading systems, risk management principles, and financial markets.
• Experience in SQL databases (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL Server) and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) and version control systems (e.g., Git, Subversion).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Front Arena integration and customization is highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in Front Arena or related technologies are a plus.
