Pearson Carter are working with a client who are a Solicitors that deal in property, Law cases, Personal injury, actions against police & Family. They have 2 developers that deal with in house projects and maintenance of current systems

They are looking for a Software engineer mainly SQL

Responsibilities

– Social – lots of interaction in terms of input into the projects – lots of back & forth with the Project Manager
– Able to crack on but has to have a good chat
– Social environment  
– Needs to have a very good SQL understanding & Database process knowledge 
– At least 3 years SQL experience
– Other languages are beneficial 

Experience needed

– 2 in Development team currently 
– SQL Server is primary technology
– Fixing bugs
– Development in backend
– Some C# & Python is beneficial 
– Understanding of XML would be beneficial but by no means essential
– 5X in office – Open to having the odd day at home if circumstances
– Monday – Friday 8.30 – 5 1 hour lunch 

Salary

They offer an excellent salary £35000k

Location

This client is based in Newport and is office based x5 days a week
