Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Switchboard Operator to operate a very busy switchboard.

You will answer and forward incoming telephone calls from 45,000 students, 12,000 staff and transferring calls to the appropriate person accessing over 6,500 extensions.  You will take down and pass on messages where necessary and you will update the company’s internal telephone directory.

You will have experience working in a similar role, previous switchboard experience is desirable but full training will be given.  You must be willing and able to handle a high volume of calls and be able to manage and process all enquiries efficiently.  You will work with front desk personnel and performing additional general administrative tasks as required.
