Job Description:
Contract PHP Software Engineer – PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, TDD, GCP.
This is a PHP Software Engineer (PHP, Laravel, JavaScript) outside IR35 for an e-commerce company working in a cross-functional team designing, building, and maintaining solutions for an e-commerce platform as well as supporting major projects.
Key Requirements:
- Building web applications using PHP, Laravel or other MVC framework
- Test Driven Development (TDD)
- JavaScript
- RESTful Web APIs
- Couchbase and Solr experience
- Writing clean, well-designed code that follows SOLID principles.
- Developing and deploying solutions to GCP (or similar)
- Software development lifecycle
- MySQL
Key Duties:
- Developing and maintaining features that deliver value to customers.
- Collaborate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from early requirement discussions with Product Owners to deployment to the production environment.
- Supporting other developers in the team.
