Senior Azure Data Engineer – Hybrid – £90k + bonus!

Pearson Carter is working with a big consultancy, who are winning new projects and expanding their teams. They operate on a global scale across the UK, the US and EMEA.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to work on multiple projects at the same time in Azure, AWS or GCP. Within this role, you will be developing ETL data pipelines, you will be migrating to the cloud (cloud to cloud or on-premises to cloud), providing guidance for stakeholders in their adoption, implementation, and management of cloud services and you will be a part of a wider team, collaborating with Data Analysts, Data Engineers and Data Architects.

Also, you will create documentation, review processes, coach, mentor and assist the wider team as well.

You will get your hands-on with the latest technology with the Azure Tech stack such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse. Certifications and training are provided to fit your needs, with clear path for grown and progress within the organization.

Experience required:

• Great experience with Azure (Databricks / Synapse / Data Factory)
• ETL data pipelines development
• Python, Big data and SQL
• Consultancy / management experience

Salary:

This is a permanent position and offers £70,000 - £90,000, depending on experience + bonus + stock options + hybrid working.

Location:

The client has got an office in London with a flexible work environment where working from home 2-3 times per week is possible.
