2nd Line Support Engineer – Networking, Cisco, Windows Server/desktop, hosted desktop/cloud, VMware, Networking, Cisco.

Working for a leading MSP across support, business applications and IT services you will be experienced in working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to providing high levels of customer service. The clients that you will be supporting are both medium and large-scale organisations that rely heavily on this company’s exemplary customer service and technical knowledge.

You will have access to a high level of in-house expertise and training that will help you pursue your goals and professional development. You must have a passion for helping people, solving problems and above all things IT and tech.

As the 2nd line engineer you will be part of a dedicated team of engineers working collaboratively, be expected to complete multiple daily tickets and perform duties that will include support, visits, and hardware maintenance. The tickets will range from Firewalls, software installs, hardware fault finding, VPN troubleshooting, NTFS permissions changes, hosted service issues, policy admin, mobile support, and networking issues (DNS, routing, switching).
You will be someone that thrives on obtaining new technical knowledge, actively engaging with more senior colleagues to expand your skillset and above all want to give a great client service

CORE SKILLS
•              Windows Server 2003-2022
•              Windows Desktop XP-11
•              Hosted Desktop and Terminal server farm setups
•              Office 365 tenant setup and administration
•              VMWare/Hyper-V administration
•              Strong networking capabilities (DNS, routing, switching etc)
•              VoIP knowledge, preferably 3CX

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
•              Cisco/Draytek firewalls and routers
•              Group admin
•              Azure AD, Intune and Defender knowledge
•              Exposure to Ubiquiti / Cisco Wireless
•              Previous MSP experience
