Lead Data Modeller, Perm, Remote, £80k + bonus + bens

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Modeller to join our client's team by the 15th of April 2024

As a senior Data Modeller, you will be responsible for owning the data architecture and shaping the data Target Operating Model within a regulated environment. Your role will involve data modelling at all levels, data quality, master data management (MDM), reference data, and other related initiatives. This role is for a seasoned professional with experience in the described areas, notably data modelling.

Responsibilities

• Own the data architecture and shape the data Target Operating Model within a regulated environment
• Lead the architecture and delivery of data modelling, DQ, DM, reference data, and related initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data architecture strategies aligned with business goals
• Drive the implementation of data governance frameworks and standards
• Evaluate and recommend data technologies, tools, and approaches to meet project requirements
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and own documentation within a regulated environment
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the data architecture team
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data architecture and related domains

Essential Experience

• Extensive experience as a Senior Data Modeller or similar role
• Good experience of data modelling of operational systems and Operational Data Stores, i.e. not just Data Warehouses ETL pipelines
• Strong expertise in data architecture, data governance, data quality, data modelling, MDM, and reference data
• Proven track record of successfully leading data architecture and delivery projects
• Familiarity with cloud delivery methodologies and best practices
• Experience in a regulated environment, including ownership of documentation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• (ideally) experience of asset management, including CIM.
