Lead Developer | up to £60,000 | Hybrid | Sunderland

Pearson Carter are working with a company who are experts in the Education Sector, with a mission to improve student outcomes by supporting teachers in becoming better.

This company have built a personalised professional development platform used by nearly 15,000 teachers in the UK! They also run other courses and collate evidence on teaching standards that has been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times and been translated into multiple languages.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee, manage and mentor across the full stack
• With a 50/50 hands-on and hands-off split, successfully lead and develop projects
• Help kickstart the full stack project roadmap
• Report directly to the CTO
• Take ownership of the full tech team and guide them as you see fit with a huge amount of autonomy.

Experience:

• At least 5 years’ worth of commercial experience
• Exceptional skills using PHP and JavaScript, preferably using Symfony and React.

Salary

They offer an excellent salary package: £60,000 + benefits  

Location

The client is based in Sunderland and they are looking for someone to be in office on a hybrid basis 3 times per week.
