Job Description – Solutions Architect


Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Solutions Architect specializing in Microsoft Business Central to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing ERP solutions to meet the business needs of our clients. The Solutions Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand business requirements, and provide innovative solutions to enhance our ERP capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• ERP Solution Design:

Lead the design and architecture of Microsoft Business Central solutions based on business requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements.
Develop comprehensive and scalable system architectures.
 

• Technical Leadership:

Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams in implementing ERP solutions.
Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security protocols.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in Microsoft 365 systems.
 

• Integration and Customization:

Design and implement integrations between BC systems and other business applications.
Customize and extend BC functionalities to meet specific business needs.
Evaluate and recommend third-party modules and plugins.
 

• Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on progress.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing Dynamics NAV and Business Central solutions.
Proven track record of successful ERP system architecture and integration projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Business Central and other 365 platforms.
Use of VS Code for code interrogation and fault finding.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and ERP cloud solutions.
Use of Project Management tools, e.g. Jira, MS Project, OneNote
