• Work to ensure compliance with legislation, national guidance, locally agreed policies, procedures and working practices in the business areas of Public Protection. 
• These areas being: Child Protection, Domestic Abuse, Missing Persons, Mental Health, the Protection of Vulnerable Adults and the management and supervision of violent and potentially dangerous persons.
