System Engineer | up to £50,000 | Malta

Pearson Carter are currently working with Malta’s leading IT services provider.

They propose and develop intelligent, secure infrastructure solutions, help build internal capabilities and identify opportunities to enhance business potential through the application of innovative technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Onboarding, administering and performing operational tasks on customers’ cloud and on-premise environments.
• Helping design and then implement new technical projects for customers.
• Work day to day on operational issues, requests and project tasks involving various technologies
• Installing, configuring, administrating and managing Azure compute instances, Azure Backup, Azure Storage Monitor, snapshot, Azure Storage.
• Configuring, administrating various Microsoft 365 technologies including Defender and Intune.
• Working with the commercial team to identify customer requirements and help build the right solution.

Experience:

• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and AWS.
• Good experience in areas such as: Windows and/or Linux server-side infrastructure, VMWare and database administration.
• Experienced configuring and troubleshooting Terminal servers (RDS), Windows Clustering, NLB, DFS, Internal PKI, and Hyper-V. PowerShell cmdlet and scripting

Salary:

They are offering a salary of up to €48,000 plus excellent benefits such as up to a 25% performance bonus and a company car scheme!

Location

The client is based in Malta and they are looking for someone to be in office on a hybrid basis.
