Cisco Engineer | 10 Month Contract

Pearson Carter are working with a global systems integrator and digital transformation provider. They focus on providing innovative digital, hybrid, and security solutions to large organizations across the U.S, Europe, and Asia.

Experience:

• Extensive experience with Cisco is required
• Strong technical experience of Cisco Meraki AP, Connecting Internet to Cato / Routers, Enabling in Cato portal, enabling Cisco and AP, enabling the traffic flow, Cloud Piece - Socket Azure
• Strong experience with Azure Networking
• CCNA

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the design and implementation of network solutions.
• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Performing routine network maintenance.
• Monitoring network performance and identifying problems and solutions.
• Assisting with network security, including managing firewalls and security devices.
• Keeping abreast of new trends and advancements in the field of network engineering.
• Learning under senior network engineers and assisting them in network optimization.
• Maintaining all software and hardware related to network infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting network issues and outages.

Salary:

They are offering a daily rate up to €200-300 per day depending on candidate's experience

Location

• The client is based in Ireland and they are looking for someone who is happy to travel to the other offices across Estonia, Spain, Warsaw, Berlin, Spain and more - 1 month per site
• Need to travel by plane/car/taxi
