Overview: We are seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager to manage, develop, implement, and maintain a range of information and communications technology (ICT) policies, processes, projects, products, and services. This role is crucial in ensuring alignment with our corporate objectives and ICT investment strategy, while delivering high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and comply with national standards.

Principal Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management:

    • Define, manage, and document the execution of complex projects or work streams.
    • Scrutinise activities against plans, providing regular financial and technical progress reports to stakeholders.
    • Ensure delivery within agreed resources, timescales, and budgets.
  2. Technical and Supplier Management:

    • Oversee all aspects of technical and supplier relationship management.
    • Manage systems, products, services, and infrastructure specifications to deliver effective business solutions.
  3. Team Leadership:

    • Lead and motivate large project teams in a matrix management environment.
    • Provide technical advice and mentorship to staff, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
  4. Strategy Development:

    • Contribute to the development of strategies, standards, and policies.
    • Monitor performance and procure resources to support corporate and departmental objectives.
  5. Innovative Solutions:

    • Propose and evaluate recommendations that combine technical knowledge with operational realities.
    • Drive improvements in products, services, and methodologies.
  6. Communication and Training:

    • Plan and conduct meetings, workshops, and training sessions for diverse audiences.
    • Communicate business requirements and negotiate with technical and business professionals.
  7. Risk Management:

    • Develop risk management strategies to ensure business continuity for critical services.
    • Adapt to the changing nature of ICT and its implications for service delivery.
  8. Documentation and Standards:

    • Ensure all work is documented using appropriate standards and methods.
    • Regularly review documentation to maintain compliance and quality.
