Full time time on a temporary basis

Role Purpose: Lead the Environmental Enforcement Team, a group of dedicated officers committed to keeping streets clean and safe. Tackle various environmental crimes, including fly-tipping, graffiti, and illegal waste management, with a significant focus on combating the growing issue of fly-tipping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Environmental Enforcement Team with expert knowledge and experience in enviro-crimes issues.

• Plan and allocate resources effectively, setting the direction for the team.

• Ensure the team delivers high-impact, sustainable outcomes.

• Improve the borough’s NI195 graffiti score.

• Coordinate with waste management services.

• Enhance the effectiveness of enforcement actions across Regulatory Services.

• Ideally experience as a manager or team leader and knowledge in dealing with environmental crimes
