Principal Planning Officer (REMOTE) needed in Southampton, £35.76ph PAYE - 5259501

Predominantly remote, but may also require some attendance at the office as requested by the Strategic Planning Manager, Director of Transport and Planning or other senior management.
- Flexible working hours supported
- Laptop will be required

Work required to support preparation of the emerging Vision Local Plan included, by not limited to:
- Policy writing
- Evidence commissioning
- Strategic advice
- Policy refinement and options selection
- Preparing briefing notes/papers
- Review of planning legislation/guidance and assessment of compliance
- Undertaking monitoring duties

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis
