Marketing & Campaigns Officer needed in Winsford Paying  £14.40 per hr ref 365393

Full time hours on a temporary basis 

 Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Marketing and Communications Officer to provide specialist communication advice to senior officers and managers. You will implement effective and innovative forms of staff and community engagement in line with our corporate communication strategy and support our organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication Strategy:

    • Support and develop innovative communications, publications, and campaigns to support the organization's vision and priorities.

    • Maximize opportunities to develop engagement and transparency with the communities we serve, raising awareness of our positive work and activities.

  • Media Relations:

    • Provide prompt and efficient responses to media enquiries.

    • Offer guidance and support to colleagues to ensure all media communications are appropriate and align with corporate guidelines.

    • Research, write, and evaluate press releases, and secure media coverage through photo calls, interview opportunities, etc.

  • Content Creation:

    • Coordinate the production of corporate publications, including writing and editing in-house publications, case studies, speeches, articles, and annual reports.

    • Utilize a full range of media, including print, electronic, and face-to-face communication, to disseminate key messages.

    • Maximize the use of visual methods to communicate, including photographs and video, for maximum impact.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Establish and maintain working relationships with internal customers, the media, and partner agencies.

    • Source and produce content for all channels of staff communication.

  • Monitoring and Evaluation:

    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all forms of internal and external communication.

    • Identify and implement change and improvement plans as required.

  • Additional Duties:

    • Attend meetings and conferences to gather information for internal and external stakeholders.

    • Participate in the department’s response to major or significant incidents.

    • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and promote equality, diversity, and human rights in working practices.
