Azure Cloud Data Architect up to £80,000 Fixed Term Contract

My client are nationally recognised Charity in the UK. They’re looking for an Azure Cloud Data Architect (12 month fixed term contract with the strong potential of extension or being made perm). They're in the early stages of a cloud transformation programme, aiming to transition all legacy systems either to Azure or to SaaS platforms provided by vendors. Their current data warehouse (on-prem) supports numerous pipelines and processes — it’s constantly growing and remains central to operations. They need a strategic, hands-on Azure Data Architect to:

• Design a roadmap for cloud migration and platform modernisation
• Advise on best practice for security, performance, and cost efficiency
• Help re-platform our data warehouse and analytics solutions for the cloud
• Ensure a futureproof, scalable foundation for data services across the charity

Salary

This is a 12 month fixed term contract offering an impressive salary package: up to £80,000 with 6% pension and 25 days A/L. The client has told us there is a STRONG chance this will be extended or even made a permanent role.

Location

Fully remote with occasional travel to London or Northampton for meetings (less than once every other month). They have a rail/hotel/taxi booking account and pay mileage at Gov rates.
