About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Director to lead our Professional Services function and drive delivery excellence across all Microsoft Dynamics-based ERP implementation projects.

As part of the senior management team, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of SaaS solutions to customers — ensuring every project is completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll manage a talented team of Consultants and Project Managers, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics-based ERP implementation projects for new and existing customers, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Consultants and Project Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Manage project resourcing, utilisation, and recovery rates to ensure profitability metrics are achieved.
  • Implement and champion best-practice project management methodologies within a SaaS delivery model.
  • Drive continuous process improvement, governance, and delivery optimisation across all operational functions.
  • Serve as an escalation point for delivery challenges and proactively support the team to bring projects back on track.
  • Lead the implementation of Microsoft Project Operations to enhance project visibility and reporting.
  • Stay current with developments in the Microsoft ecosystem, maintaining relevant certifications and encouraging the same across the team.
  • Attend board meetings to present updates on operational performance, delivery metrics, and strategic initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• 5–10 years’ experience leading a professional services or implementation function within a B2B SaaS or Microsoft Partner environment.
  • Strong background in ERP or SaaS project delivery, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or CRM.
  • Proven experience managing and motivating multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
  • Project management certification desirable (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum).
  • Track record of driving process improvements and optimising delivery performance.
  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on problem-solving when required.
  • Experience working in a remote environment with distributed teams.
  • Must be a British Citizen or hold Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR).
