Job Description:
A major UK organisation in the travel and tourism sector is looking for a Business Applications Development Manager to take ownership of their business systems, CRM estate, and application roadmap. This is a visible role at the centre of a collaborative, people-first culture where colleagues are genuinely supported, empowered, and encouraged to grow.
You’ll oversee core business applications, lead development and integration initiatives, manage vendors, and help shape a modern, secure, and efficient technology environment.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead development and delivery of business applications, CRM and system processes
Manage suppliers & third-party development teams across projects
Gather requirements, support procurement, and contribute to architectural decisions
Provide 2nd/3rd-line technical support for business applications
Oversee documentation, training, and smooth handovers across teams
Ensure robust data security policies working with internal stakeholders
Support integrations across finance, membership systems, email marketing and more
Keep technology aligned with user needs and drive improvements
What you’ll bring:
Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform
Experience of system integrations via web services
Background in application development project management
Ability to define and maintain development/security standards
Confident working with third-party vendors and cross-functional teams
Strong troubleshooting skills across hybrid Microsoft/Open Source systems
Strategic mindset with the ability to deliver tactically
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and people skills
