Build Recruitment are working with a leading housing provider to recruit a Communal Cleaner to cover residential properties in and around Eastleigh.

This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across communal areas, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with agreed cleaning specifications.

• Cleaning communal entrances, stairwells, corridors and bin stores

• Sweeping, vacuuming and washing floors, walls, doors and fixtures

• Internal window cleaning (using ladders where required)

• Litter picking, graffiti removal and carpet cleaning

• Erecting signage and notice boards when required

• Completing fire risk checks, alarms and emergency lighting inspections

• Reporting defects and safety issues as identified

• Maintaining accurate records, timesheets and material usage

• Ensuring tools, equipment and vehicles are kept safe and serviceable

• Previous experience in a communal cleaning or housing environment

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Strong understanding of health & safety requirements

• Full UK driving licence

• Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach

• Reliable, organised and able to manage workload effectively

• £16.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday work
