This is a trusted role requiring exceptional discretion, sound judgement, and the confidence to operate at the most senior level.
The Role
You will act as a key strategic support to the executive, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations while managing complex priorities, communications, and logistics. The role combines traditional PA responsibilities with broader executive and personal support in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactive and complex diary management, including multi-time-zone scheduling and prioritisation
- Managing inboxes, calls, and correspondence, acting as a gatekeeper and responding on behalf of the executive where appropriate
- Coordinating internal and external meetings at Board and senior leadership level, including preparation of agendas, packs, and briefing notes
- Arranging business and personal travel, managing itineraries, logistics, and last-minute changes
- Liaising confidently with Board members, senior executives, clients, and external stakeholders
- Supporting business operations including expenses, compliance-related administration, document management, and confidential record-keeping
- Providing discreet personal support as required (e.g. appointments, personal travel, ad-hoc requests)
- Assisting with Board meetings, offsites, and executive events
- Anticipating needs, identifying risks, and resolving issues independently
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant supporting C-Suite or Board-level executives, ideally within financial services
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
- Absolute discretion, integrity, and professionalism
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills at senior and external levels
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
