Housing First Officer needed in South East London Paying  £24.43 per hr ref OR22901

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

• Provide intensive, wrap‑around support to individuals experiencing multiple exclusion homelessness, including CHAIN‑verified rough sleepers and hostel residents.
• Build trusting, sustained relationships with clients using trauma‑informed and psychologically‑informed approaches.
• Support clients to secure and sustain tenancies, addressing risks around eviction, rent arrears, neighbour relations, and tenancy conditions.
• Complete high-quality assessments, risk management plans, and safeguarding referrals.
• Navigate a wide range of support pathways, including welfare benefits, substance misuse services, mental health provision, primary care, community resources, and specialist interventions.
• Maintain excellent case notes and ensure compliance with data and IT recording systems.
• Work effectively within a small, multidisciplinary team and contribute to service development.
• Attend multi-agency meetings, advocate for clients, and uphold professional boundaries.
