Responsibilities:
• Lead Highway and Traffic Design (from feasibility to implementation) of various schemes from highway maintenance, highway design, traffic, road safety and active travel schemes)
• Assess traffic and parking issues around the city.
• Prepare and implement TRO’s including drawings and legal schedules
• Project management of Highways Civil and Traffic Engineering schemes including financial control of scheme budgets.
• Provide specialist technical information to internal and external colleagues (including members, area teams, the public and other partners).
• Compliance with relevant guidance and legislation (Highways Act / TSRGD / TSM / TRO Regs).
