We are looking for an experienced and adaptable Float Team Assistant to provide high-level support within a busy and collaborative Asset Management environment. This position is well suited to someone who is confident operating at pace, enjoys variety in their workload, and is comfortable working with stakeholders across multiple seniority levels.
The successful candidate will bring strong and relevant experience in a Team Assistant capacity, with a preference for those who have spent at least 2 or more years in financial services or banking. You will be supporting a wide group from Analyst to Partner/Managing Director level, so a proven track record of working within high-demand, team-based support structures is essential.
Responsibilities
- Answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls, directing them appropriately and recording messages with accuracy.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and conference calls across multiple regions and time zones, maintaining up-to-date contact information.
- Organise and oversee complex, fast-paced calendars to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Handle complete travel arrangements, including multi-leg international trips, visa processing, ground transportation, accommodation, and detailed itineraries.
- Process and reconcile expense reports promptly, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships across the organisation, communicating effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as document preparation, filing, archiving, and record management.
- Collaborate with other team assistants to provide cohesive and flexible support across the group.
- Support ad hoc projects and tasks, adapting to changing priorities and requirements as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Exceptionally well organised with a strong eye for detail
- Able to prioritise effectively and remain composed under pressure
- Clear communicator with a professional and approachable style
- Collaborative in nature, with a willingness to step in and support others
- Experienced in managing multiple senior stakeholders simultaneously
This role offers the opportunity to be part of a high-performing team where no two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who takes satisfaction in delivering efficient, high-quality support in a fast-moving professional setting.
If you have the necessary and relevant skills and experience for this role and are available at short notice, please apply for further consideration.
