Executive Assistant – Human Resources (12-Months Initially, Temp to Perm)
Location: City of London (5 days in office)
Pay: £26 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
The Opportunity
Tay Associates is delighted to be partnering with a leading global investment bank to recruit a highly capable Executive Assistant to join its Human Resources division. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a prestigious, fast-paced organisation operating at the forefront of global markets.
Supporting senior leadership, including Managing Directors, you will play a pivotal role at the centre of the HR function. Acting as a trusted partner, you will bring sound judgement, discretion, and a proactive approach, ensuring seamless day-to-day support within a high-performing and collaborative environment. This role offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to contribute to the operational excellence of a world-class organisation, with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to two Managing Directors, with additional support to the wider team as required
- Coordinate complex internal and external meetings across multiple global time zones
- Manage busy and ever-changing diaries, proactively prioritising and resolving scheduling conflicts
- Arrange domestic and international travel, including the timely processing of expense claims
- Book meeting rooms and external venues, overseeing all associated logistics
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations through forward planning and attention to detail
About You
You will be a skilled Executive Assistant with a professional, adaptable approach and the confidence to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- 3–4 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant within a corporate setting, ideally financial services
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion and sound judgement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate needs
- Comfortable working within a client-focused, high-performing culture
