We’re looking for a Software Engineer with a strong backend focus to join an innovative engineering team working on cutting-edge systems used by global defence partners. This is a hands-on role where your work will directly interact with real-world hardware and mission-critical applications.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain applications across Android, Windows, and Linux platforms
• Build full-stack solutions with a backend focus (approx. 80% backend / 20% frontend)
• Design and implement backend services using Java / Kotlin / Spring Boot / PostgreSQL
• Contribute to frontend development using React and JavaScript
• Work on hardware-integrated systems, bridging software with real-world devices
• Collaborate on projects delivered to international clients including defence organisations
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design through to deployment

What You’ll Bring

• 2–3 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong backend development skills in Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL
• Frontend experience with React and JavaScript
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and problem-solving
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• A collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Nice to Have

• Experience with C# / .NET
• Exposure to Android development
• Interest or experience in hardware interfacing or embedded systems
