Software Engineer – 80,000–90,000

Pearson Carter are working on behalf of a leading technology company in West Melbourne that develops advanced software and hardware solutions for defence clients. They are looking for a Software Engineer / Full Stack Engineer (backend-focused) to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on challenging projects across Android, Windows, and Linux platforms, with exposure to both software and electro-mechanical systems, in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Salary

80,000–90,000 super  

Responsibilities:

Develop applications across Android, Windows, and Linux platforms Build full-stack web solutions (React/JS front-end, Java/Kotlin back-end, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL)

Interface with hardware and real-world systems

Work on projects for German Army, US Army, and other defence partners

Experience

2–3 years professional software development experience (slightly flexible)

Strong knowledge of Java / Kotlin / Spring Boot / PostgreSQL

Experience with React / JavaScript

Android development experience preferred

C# / .NET knowledge a bonus
