Software Developer – MYOB Acumatica Role Overview
  • Deliver high-quality development services as a subject matter expert in MYOB Acumatica
  • Design, develop, test, and support customisations and integrations for clients
  • Work closely with consultants, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions

Key Responsibilities

Development & Technical Delivery

  • Design, implement, and test Acumatica customisations and third-party integrations
  • Diagnose and resolve complex, time-critical technical issues
  • Translate client requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Maintain code, integrations, and documentation using tools such as GitHub

Client & Service Management

  • Manage and resolve client cases with clear and timely communication
  • Ensure high client satisfaction through proactive updates and problem resolution
  • Align technical delivery with client expectations and business outcomes

Project & Delivery Management

  • Plan, track, and deliver work within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Manage billable hours, revenue targets, and quoting activities
  • Monitor performance metrics such as CSAT and improve service delivery

Collaboration & Team Contribution

  • Work closely with consultants, project teams, and stakeholders
  • Support mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing within the team
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and internal knowledge base

Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records of projects, cases, and client communications
  • Ensure proper documentation, timesheet completion, and system updates
  • Follow internal processes, security protocols, and quality standards

Key Skills & Attributes
  • Strong development and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ERP systems, ideally MYOB Acumatica
  • Ability to manage client-facing responsibilities and technical delivery
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
