Senior Frontend Developer (Sitecore), Contract

Pearson Carter are currently working with a leading digital consultancy delivering enterprise-level web solutions across Australia. They are looking to grow their team as they have secured new Sitecore-based projects and are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer with strong Sitecore expertise to join on an initial 12-month contract.

They are looking for someone with extensive frontend development experience, particularly within Sitecore CMS environments, who can deliver high-quality, accessible, and high-performance web applications.

Responsibilities:
Sitecore CMS Development (including SXA)
Build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance frontend solutions
Ensure WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance
Collaborate with UX/UI designers for responsive, pixel-perfect builds
Integrate with backend APIs and services
Optimize applications for performance and cross-browser compatibility
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers

Experience:
Must have strong frontend development experience (5 years)
Expertise in Sitecore CMS (Sitecore 10 preferred, SXA experience required)
Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Experience with modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
Proficiency in SASS/SCSS and modular CSS (BEM, ITCSS, etc.)
Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, ARIA)
Experience with REST APIs, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
Agile/Scrum experience
Australian Citizenship is required

Salary
Up to 700 P/D

This role is based in Australia with flexible remote working options available.
