Senior Software Developer – .NET / Full Stack

Location: Palmerston North, New Zealand - Open to Hybrid

We build smart parking technology that integrates embedded kiosks, IoT hardware, cloud-hosted services, and modern web and mobile applications. Our systems are used globally, and we are looking for experienced developers who thrive in complex environments and enjoy delivering high-quality, reliable software solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain scalable applications using .NET (C#) and Azure SQL / SQL Server
• Work across the full stack, including back-end services, APIs, Angular web applications, and Flutter mobile apps
• Collaborate with QA, product, and engineering teams to deliver features from design through to production
• Apply clean code principles, design patterns, and best practices to ensure maintainable systems
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and deployment processes
• Diagnose and resolve production issues with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical reviews to ensure robust system design

What We’re Looking For

• 5 years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in C# / .NET Core and SQL, including EF Core or similar ORM frameworks
• Experience with front-end development (preferably Angular) and/or mobile development (Flutter, iOS, Android)
• Solid understanding of modern engineering practices including Git workflows, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies
• Ability to analyse and solve complex problems in distributed systems
• Familiarity with cloud environments, ideally Azure App Services, pipelines, and storage

Bonus Experience

• IoT or hardware integration experience
• Event-driven and asynchronous system design
• Performance optimisation for high-scale and high-throughput systems
