Principal Software Engineer up to £95k Cambridge, Hybrid

Pearson Carter are currently working with an industrial software company that helps large manufacturers, energy companies etc. They help these companies design facilities, monitor operations, analyse industrial data, and improve efficiency through digital transformation, automation, and AI-powered analytics.

Experience

• Extensive experience working with C
• Strong experience using .NET & C#
• Microsoft Azure experience
• Experience with containerization (Kubernetes and Docker)
• Linux and Windows experience
• Architectural experience covering Microservices and architectural design
• It would be highly advantageous to have experience working on a project that is a modernization of a legacy system, re-architecting a C system into a .NET based system across Linux and Windows
• AI exposure to Co-Pilot would be beneficial

Salary

They offer an excellent salary package of up to £95,000, plus a benefits package that includes a 10% remuneration bonus, reimbursement for certifications, and more.

Location

The client is based in Cambridge and they are looking for someone to be in office on a hybrid basis.
