We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working across both development and operational environments, and building reliable, scalable systems.

This is a hands-on engineering role combining backend development, customer-facing technical support, and DevOps collaboration. You'll work closely with both internal teams and customers, helping integrate platform technologies, troubleshoot production issues, and build scalable backend services.

• Partner with customer engineering teams to integrate platform technologies, APIs, and services.
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues through analysis of application code, logs, and infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance, support, and sample code to customers.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, distributed backend services.
• Take ownership of existing platform components and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop supporting tools, automation, unit tests, and system tests.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Customer Success teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance.

• 10 years of commercial software development experience.
• Expert-level Linux development experience.
• 5 years of commercial C/C development experience.
• 5 years of commercial Go (Golang) development experience.
• 3 years of commercial Node.js development experience.
• Strong Bash scripting skills.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and frameworks (Jenkins experience highly regarded).
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Kubernetes, Nomad, Consul, or similar clustering/containerisation technologies.
• Experience working within DevOps and production environments.

• 2 years of experience in a DevOps engineering role.
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Exposure to cloud-native infrastructure and modern platform operations.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused mindset.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for quality, maintainability, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
