Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Back-End Development team to build and maintain robust APIs and backend services.
• Develop, maintain, and improve existing application features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code while following established coding standards.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to define and clarify technical requirements.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to pull requests.
• Support the Team Lead by sharing technical knowledge and mentoring other developers where required.
• Assist with estimating development effort for product backlog items.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and development best practices.
• Help drive continuous improvement across the development team while meeting agreed KPIs and project deadlines.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years' commercial experience developing web applications.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Good understanding of software architecture and backend application design.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Experience working with Jira or similar project management tools.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline would be advantageous.

Salary:

Salary is dependent on experience and between €30-50k
